Culinary TV Production

Anyone who has seen the inner workings of a television cooking show knows the magic may happen in front of the camera, but the success or failure of a shoot hinges on the hours of preparation and organization that happen before anyone says “action!” Emilie has worked behind the scenes on nationally broadcast television cooking shows, including Rick Bayless’s acclaimed PBS series “Mexico, One Plate at a Time” and LiveWell Network’s “Let’s Dish,” hosted by Chef Chris Koetke, as well as commercial video shoots for national food brands.

Each step of the way, Emilie works hand-in-hand with hosts to bring their culinary ideas to life on screen, from developing and testing recipes to coordinating rundowns, building shopping lists, prepping swaps and final “beauty” plates and managing the production kitchen.
